sevenloaders are invited to rate all of the photos based on their choice for the best costume. The total ratings will be tallied and a winners will be announced on November 15th. First prize is a new Apple iPod Nano and 2 lbs. of Halloween candy, second prize is 5 lbs. of Halloween candy, and third prize is 2 lbs. of Halloween candy. John Lore Photo Special
John Lore has the newest photographer special on sevenload. And this one’s really special, because he is officially the first American photographer to have a special!
A little background on John Lore: He hails from the eclectic city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the picturesque southwest region of the U.S. Along with photography, John’s artistic proficiencies include graphic design, film editing, and award-winning cinematography. Though formally trained in the art of photography at the University of New Mexico, John infuses his photos with an air of novelty not commonly seen in the art of portraiture. His portfolio includes an extensive collection of actors, models, bands, and family portraits. His preferred approach when working with a new client is to take a chance and see what unfolds.
The theme for John’s first set of photos on this site will capture his interpretation of Woman’s Image and the conundrum of edginess, fashion, charm, and spirit that defines the female character. In this series, he endeavors to portray the reality of his subject while presenting her in an entirely unique manner.
Nevio has decided!
Valentine’s Day is finally behind us and we received a ton of Valentines. There were a ton of heart-felt greetings sent in for our contest “Meet Nevio”- for those eager to win a chance to meet Nevio Passaro. For Nevio, the winner really stood out among the rest, with a very original collage of hearts, kisses and little messages- and Yannilie is the winner with this picture!

sevenload Special: Electric Reporter
Mario Sixtus is one of Germany’s best known journalists who specializes in pieces about the internet and web culture. His articles about current and rousing topics can often be found in renowned print media. As of late, he has also decided to add video reports to his portfolio of work: his new format “Elektrischer Reporter” (Electric Reporter) is quickly becoming an integral part of the German speaking Blogsphere and information culture on the internet. Today, we’re proud to present and broadcast “ER” as a part of the new sevenload Special.

This modern form of news-casting gives you the chance to get to know a forward thinking internet mastermind, through regular episodes. Some of the topics covered will include themes about the economy and science (but filmed in a cult-like fashion) and you can be sure to see some interesting interviews in the upcoming episodes.

We already mentioned recently that sevenload is totally stoked about being able to help new comers get their chance

And how are we able to do this? – With our newly enhanced sevenload Specials At the moment, sevenload is the largest platform which offers individually customized micro-sites. In fact, we have received so many requests since the release of the new Specials page over the weekend that our designer has hardly had enough time to catch up on his “normal” daily work.
