This English Blog…
This is just a general announcement that I, Jessica aka “Greenbean”, will be taking over (for the most part) here on the English Blog! But don’t worry, for those of you who have been following the German Blog, it can still be found here.
Now, to give you all a little background on me: I’m an American from Albuquerque, NM and am in charge of Country Management and translations for the English site. I work on the site’s texts personally and am also responsible for sevenload Specials for the English site. I am super excited to finally be releasing this Blog (it’s been a long time in the making) and am really looking forward to getting even more involved in the sevenload Community. I’m hoping to give you all continued help, tips and advice all about sevenload, and also write about some new, fun and interesting topics!
As far as Specials are concerned on the site- we’re really starting to expand internationally and are of course, looking for new Specials and Special ideas. If anyone is interested in a Special on sevenload, please contact us here.
Looking forward to seeing how this Blog develops!

PS: I will be joined soon by another English native speaker, Paula, sometime in the very near future! So check back!
The sevenload Blog
This is the first entry for sevenload’s official blog.
sevenload is a new community/platform for managing and sharing photos and videos which utilize so-called Web 2.0 technologies. We will be explaing some of sevenload’s features in detail here in the next few days.
Ibrahim Evsan (sevenload’s CEO and Founder) and I (Chief Software Architect) work together, along with our development team, to take care of and develop the platform. sevenload is currently in a Beta Phase. It is possible that during sevenload’s operation certain bugs and disturbances might pop up and we’d like to apologize for this in advance. Our developers literally work around the clock- so that sevenload can constantly be enhanced and upgraded.
We would like to take the time here to say that we really want to have an open dialogue at sevenload. We want our users to actively participate in sevenload and are looking forward to having an active and inspiring community. In order to make active participation possible, we will be releasing several interfaces (APIs) for developers as well as asking for tips and feedback from our users.
We’ve already received mention from several bloggers, among them is Emily Chang:
