Number of Views
We have recently received a lot of feedback from the community that the numbers of views that videos, photos and shows have are not being displayed correctly. We are working furiously on a solution already right now to ensure that the correct number of views are being displayed- and remember, if you are looking to see where our enhancements and further development currently stand, check out this blog entry.

Let’s start off by whisking you off to the distant shores of Dubai, the fastest-growing city on earth. With its indoor ski resorts, underwater hotels, towering skyscrapers, pristine beaches and more luxury than you could ever wish for, tourism in Dubai is currently booming. And if money is no issue, book yourself into the famous Burj Al Arab shown in this photo: one of the world’s best hotels in the shape of a sail.

How about island hopping in Greece? Zante is just one of the 1400 Greek Islands you can choose from. Smugglers Cove on the North West of the island has to be the most famous beach. Over 20 years ago a ship carrying contraband cigarettes was wrecked and washed up here. It is only accessible by boat, but definitely worth the trip, as this photo shows!

You’ll feel a million miles away from home in the bustling metropolis of Tokyo. But if it’s the whole “Lost in Translation” experience you’re looking for then you’re in the right place here. With a population of around 12 million and skyscraper district, you’ll be reminded just how small you are, as this picture emphasizes!

If you’re going to San Francisco….be sure to take plenty of photos there! Trips to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island Alcatraz Island, plus a ride on the famous cable cars are at the top of most travellers’ lists of things to do. The cosmopolitan population, chilly summer fog and steep streets are also unique to San Fran and further reasons why Sevenloaders like Morgler and Eli come to visit.

It’s safe to say that sevenloader Dortmunder isn’t scared of heights! At 135 metres high, the London Eye is the fourth tallest structure in London and attracts 3.5 million visitors a year. Hip and trendy London is a must for every urban traveller!

Chill out and soak up the summer! What better way to start a night out in Ibiza than watching the red sun sink into the sea at Café del Mar, accompanied by a soundtrack of ambient tunes? When the sun does eventually set a round of applause can be heard and it’s time to head for one of the many clubs.
This Funny Week
Our Comedy Channel is literally starting to burst at the seams, as we have yet another new show to add to the lineup: This Funny Week.
This Australian show has a very simple philosophy: They make the show because they want to and because they enjoy sharing stories and telling jokes. Each of the cast members also happens to be a stand-up comedian, so it really works out perfectly that This Funny Week puts its focus on making the world laugh!
The cast and “crew” of This Funny Week comprises of well, basically the cast that you see in front of the camera. All of the show’s jokes and production comes straight from the source, meaning comedians themselves- and we have to admit, homegrown humor and talent like this just can’t be beat!

Pimply Wimp
Pimply Wimp has now joined the ranks of other sevenload shows in the Comedy Channel. But what does Pimply Wimp mean?
Definition:
The meaning of pimplywimp is re-appropriation, free association, and kransky sausages. Each video is made in a miniature factory inside an egg laid by a flying penguin and brought into the world like sharpened jewels. Honesty aside, these videos are what keeps their creator alive.
Creator Ryan Reyes says-
As a teenager I was a pimplywimp, now I am an adult and nothing’s changed.
Just less frequent pimples and plenty of feel good comedy videos. It is my duty to share them, so please share alike.

sevenload 3.0 Enhancements- Update
We’ve been very busy bees lately. This blog entry serves to give you an update about everything that has been going on with sevenload 3.0 since our re-launch.

Loko tv is the newest featured sevenload show added to the Comedy Channel that offers viewers the latest animation brands from independent studios around the world. There’s nothing average about this! Average Betty is officially sevenload.com’s first new show on sevenload 3.0!

sevenload Groups
If you’re interested in chatting about videos, photos and show with other sevenloaders you can now create and/or join groups on sevenload. In the sevenload groups you can discuss various topics and even post videos in the group that are relevant to the topic.
- If you’re already logged in to your sevenload account (and have already joined groups), select “Community” in the navigation and then click on “Your Groups” – instead of clicking on your groups, you can also select “Browse Groups” to see what groups already exist.
- On this page you will see a central main page about your groups including those you created yourself and others you are a member of.
- Click on “Create New Group” and you can have your very own group on sevenload. Make sure to give your group a name as well as a description before saving!
- You can also select what sort of rights the group should have, for example who can join or view the group- you can even select what category the group should be in.
- Confirm your selections by clicking on “Create a Group” and then select a cover photo for your group.
- The last stp: invite your friends or go directly to your new group – done!
Playlists
What’s going right now on sevenload? You’ll never have to search for particular videos for long again on sevenload. The re-launch has seen us introduce playlists onto sevenload so that you have the ability to create your own program. Now you can quickly zap through videos that other videos have watched too.
A sevenload playlist is basically a “re-play” of videos that you’ve watched and saved in your playlists. Generally speaking, you can create as many playlists as you’d like. Below is a description of how you create a playlist:
- If you go to “Your Content” and in the menu click on “Your Playlists”. A new page will load and here you need to click on “Create Playlist”.
- Enter a title and description in the text boxes. Here you can select if you want your playlist to be public or private then click on “Create a Playlist”.
- Then either you can upload a cover photo or simply skip this step.
- The last step is adding videos to your new playlists. You do this by running your mouse over the thumbnail image of a video and when the plus symbol pops up, click on it and select the video. When you are don, click on “Finish and View”.
If you have friends that are not already sevenload members, you can still invite them to look at your public playlists. An example of a playlists can be found at http://de.sevenload.com/playlists/RiiexQr – you can start the playlist by clicking on “Play”.
