Inserting sevenload Videos in Wikis
Wikis are websites which allow collaborative available information- this information can be added, edited and linked by users directly and therefore updated accordingly. The best known wiki site is without a doubt Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia that offers a wealth on knowledge online.
Starting today it will be possible to add videos hosted on sevenload to wikis. In order to embed videos from sevenload you will to have the Extension Video Flash, which can be obtained in the MediaWiki as a download.
Embedding sevenload videos will be relatively easy with the following code which can be entered in a wiki entry: (this is as soon as the extension in the wiki software has been integrated and activated)
<videoflash type="sevenload">VIDEO-ID</videoflash>The VIDEO-ID can be found in the URL, which can easily be copied from the address bar in the browser – for example, the video-ID from the address http://en.sevenload.com/videos/rXVlk1A/ is rXVlk1A. The first use of this extension known to us can be found in sondala’s weblog (in German).
Nevio has decided!
Valentine’s Day is finally behind us and we received a ton of Valentines. There were a ton of heart-felt greetings sent in for our contest “Meet Nevio”- for those eager to win a chance to meet Nevio Passaro. For Nevio, the winner really stood out among the rest, with a very original collage of hearts, kisses and little messages- and Yannilie is the winner with this picture!

New Registration Page
Up to now we’ve said that registering can be done in less than a minute, though we’ve really always believed that this could actually be done even faster- therefore, we reconfigured the registration page and now, signing up should take only about half the time.
Member Login
Login for registered users is still in the upper left hand corner- if you want to be logged-in automatically each time you visit the site just check off the box “Remeber Password”, under your user name and password, and you will be logged-in the next time you go onto the site (so long as Cookies are turned on in your browser).
What is sevenload?
We use the computer screen as an eyecatcher on this page, explaing what sevenload is. sevenload is all about your photos and videos- because with them, you are taking part in an active user community. Whoever doesn’t know sevenload will certainly get a sneak peak of what our community is like here!
Registration
We’ve made it possible now to register with sevenload in three quick steps. All we need from you is the user name you’d like to have, an E-mail address and a password- that’s it! All other profile information and details can be entered after the account has been activated.
New Users
As an extra little we’ve added a new section on the home page which displays new users on sevenload- one section has new users with profile photos and the other is new users without a profile photo. That way, other sevenloaders can see who the new comers are. 
And Remember:
The confirmation E-mail is required to have the account fully activated, so that users can later upload photos and videos to sevenload. It’s now possible to wait up to 48 hours to confirm the E-mail sent, so that new users can have a chance to check out the site a little first.
